New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested a 20-year-old man associated with the Bambiha-Tillu syndicate, nearly a week after a 26-year-old suspected member of the rival Gogi gang was shot dead by two assailants in the Mundka area. He said on Sunday.

The 20 accused, identified as Tushar (one name), were detained in Sonipat on Saturday.

The late Amit Lakra was the brother of jailed gangster Ankesh Lakra, who was allegedly behind the recent sackings and extortions in Outer Delhi. Amit was killed on 9 November.

Deputy commissioner of police (crime) Sanjay Kumar Sain said, “We received a tip-off that the bike used in the murder was near a restaurant in Kundli.” On Saturday morning, Tushar was detained while driving. His partner Nihaal Singh was arrested on Thursday.
