Laura recently shared a breakfast recipe that helped her lose 15 pounds. “A lot of my success when it comes to losing weight comes from repetition and routine. Sometimes it’s just a matter of eating a few meals that you love, are easy to make, and can rotate on a consistent basis,” she read.

Here is the breakfast recipe he follows:

  • Half a cup of oats
  • Two tablespoons of chia seeds
  • glass of milk
  • fruits
  • One tablespoon of peanut butter

Method:

Take half a glass of oats, two tablespoons of chia seeds, a glass of milk and chopped fruits in a jar and mix them all. Freeze overnight and add a tablespoon of peanut butter before eating in the morning.

Chia seeds for weight loss:

Chia seeds are known for their ability to absorb 10 times their weight. This also helps satiate the body, curb appetite and also keep us hydrated. In an earlier interview with HT Lifestyle, Abhilasha V, Chief Clinical Nutritionist, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, Bengaluru, said, “Chia seeds have gained popularity as a superfood due to their nutritional profile and versatility in cooking. They are often used for heart health, weight management and digestion.” They are recommended for their potential health benefits.

Peanut butter for weight loss:

Peanut butter is an excellent source of protein for the body. But not only that, it also helps in losing weight. In an earlier interview with HT, Nutritionist Janvi Chitalia said: “Peanut butter is a rich source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. This helps you feel full for a long time. It also helps in increasing the good cholesterol in your body. E and Vitamins K are excellent for relieving premenstrual symptoms.
