EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) – Pickens Co. The identity of a teenager killed Friday has been confirmed, the Medical Examiner’s Office said Saturday.

Robert Preston Crawford, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene at the Sun Inn, 4237 Calhoun Memorial Hwy, Easley, the coroner said.

According to the medical examiner, the cause of death was a gunshot wound.

Pickens Co. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting.
