Rohit Shetty slams ‘insecure’ young actors and calls environmental culture ‘dangerous’

Film director Rohit Shetty has expressed his strong views on the ambient culture among the current generation of actors. Labeling them “insecure”, Shetty offered some advice and encouraged players to move away from mobile screens and “go out into the world”. He also encouraged them not to be afraid of failure.

We speak to casting director Mukesh Chhabra Mashable India Shetty said on YouTube: “New stars are insecure people. They are too involved in social media, which is not the real world. One thing about social media is that 90% of the followers and articles are paid. They need to get out. Buying followers or paid Having articles won’t do any good after two years, after all, you’ll have to prove yourself on the big screen, not on the mobile screen.”

He continued: “My biggest advice to the younger generations is, do not think of any job as big or small. As long as you follow your beliefs. You do not need to discuss this with others.” He also appealed to the current generation of actors to let go of the fear of failure, adding: “My films Cirkus and Dilwale didn’t work but people still remember me for Golmaal and All The Best. That’s what matters.”

Citing Salman Khan as an example, Shetty added: “When Salman Khan’s films didn’t work, he did Jeet with Sunny Deol. He did it only as an anchor and saw it as an opportunity to advance his career. That quality in stars is fading now.”

Filmmaker currently enjoying The success of his last movie Singham Again He also expressed his strong views on the subject. A team of new age actors.

“The most dangerous thing today is the teams formed around the new generation of stars. Thoughts like ‘You shouldn’t do that’ or ‘I don’t think you should go there’ don’t work. Ultimately, after 30 years people will judge you based on your cumulative work. When you work for this long, no one remembers success or failure. Do you remember how many times Amitabh Bachchan failed in his career? We remember him only as the Amitabh Bachchan brand because he has done all kinds of roles for a total of 50 years,” said the 50-year-old filmmaker.

Rohit Shetty’s latest film Singham Again, backed by an ensemble cast comprising Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tiger Shroff, is currently ruling the box office.
