    Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson by unanimous decision (80-72, 79-73, 79-73) in a highly anticipated fight that turned out to be a disappointing and difficult event to watch.

    Tyson emerged as the early aggressor, but understandably the 58-year-old became too tired to muster much offense as the match progressed.

    Paul, 27, landed his share of shots, but none were strong enough to knock out the former undisputed world heavyweight champion.

    The fight ultimately saw both men circle each other in the ring for eight two-minute rounds over the course of 16 minutes, occasionally attempting some strikes.

    In the end, Paul easily controlled the challenge and won on all three judges’ scorecards, but it was a clearly underwhelming fight that left people craving so much more. To make matters worse, it was frankly difficult for many to see the 58-year-old Tyson compete in the ring.

    To be honest, I got goosebumps when I saw Tyson come out, but I hated seeing him get punched. Mike didn’t need this. I hope he did a good job.

    Paul improved to 11-1 lifetime with seven knockouts. Tyson’s career record currently stands at 50-7 in no contest.
