Suppose? Barbecue restaurant owner living with Chiefs’ effects bets he didn’t

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – Brian White has lived a great life, spending the last 45 years cooking barbecue. She didn’t have a care in the world until her son found a place in August. Kansas City Chiefs betting is offered online.

He makes good money from his family’s Smoketown BBQ restaurant. But he learned that a $500 bet could have earned him $600,000 if the Chiefs went undefeated and won the Super Bowl!

But before we deposited the money, a funny thing happened.

“My wife hears about it and a few things happen,” he said. “We didn’t place the bet.”

Brian is excited that the Chiefs are winning all these games. But it’s also ‘What if?’ “You can’t blame him for asking the question.”

“And here we are in Week 11 – undefeated – and I’m starting to get a little nervous,” he said.

This was especially true last Sunday. Leo Chenal’s late-game exploits saved the day.

Maybe a prayer Brian said made a difference.

“I said, ‘God, if we ever need a blog, now is the time.’”

If you thought the Chiefs and Broncos were shocked, you should have seen Brian and his wife.

“I freaked out and my wife just nodded and went back into the other room.”

The Chiefs still have a chance to achieve this feat, but can these guys beat it? The daughter speaks on behalf of the whole family.

“That would suck,” Kim said, “because I could get some of that money!”
