BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) – A man was arrested for possession of child pornography.

The suspect was identified as 37-year-old Jose Luis Albino of Bridgeport. He was also known as Jose Albino-Santiago.

Bridgeport Police said they received information from the FBI in September 2024 about the possession of child pornography.

In early October, a detective received multiple reports of uploaded files related to child pornography.

These reports are created by an unnamed company that has a free instant messaging mobile application.

The company believed that child pornography had been recorded, shared or uploaded by one of its users.

Police received a search warrant and found a lot of evidence in Albino’s house.

Albino was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, risk of harm to a child, and seduction of a minor.

His total bond was set at $550,000.
