    Fire caused significant damage to home in 9800 block of Bennington

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 9800 block of Bennington on Friday.

    The incident occurred around 12.15. When the teams arrived at the scene, they reported smoke coming from a single-storey house.

    There were no injuries as no one was in the house at the time of the fire. However, there appears to be serious damage to the house.

    The cause of the fire is being investigated.
