There are only two episodes left from Season 1 of Murder in a Small Town.

The last two episodes are the season finale and Murder in a Small Town Season 1 Episode 7 spoilers reveal a high-stakes murder in action.

This is the second episode without source material, but the last episode is from one of LR Wright’s novels, so they’re probably connected.

The Team Found a Body in the Forest

There’s something eerie and scary about finding a dead woman in the woods. To make matters worse, flowers were placed around it.

This showed that someone cared enough to straighten the body and pose for the victim. While the setup initially reminded me of a crazy fairy tale, it was very sick and violent.

The weekly feature almost claims that the victims were attacked by hanging from a tree. That piercing scream bothers me.

It is also alleged that the victim was attacked so badly that his cheek was cracked and his bones were broken.

This killer had his job, and Karl seemed confident that he would kill more women.

This Serial Killer Story Looks Strangely Familiar

This serial killer story sounds oddly familiar. I admit, I’m a lot of procedural, but it sounds oddly like a serial killer story. Will Trent’s Season 2 finale.

The difference is that these are female victims that a male perpetrator is obsessed with.

The brutal dismemberment of these bodies with a hammer or carving knife is disturbing.

Could this be a clue? I wonder if he is a butcher. He knew how to carve animals. People the next step will be easy.

As the bodies begin to pile up, Karl becomes confident that they are looking for the serial killer and turns to someone else for help.

Karl Reached Out to Cassandra for Help

We have a special treat for you this week. FOX gave an award to TV Fanatic special clip This angers Karl, who asks Cassandra to help solve multiple murders.

We don’t want to spoil too much, but we’re relieved that she still thinks he can ask for help after the breakup, and teases him about needing an artist’s recommendation when that’s his specialty.

Police often use sketch artists to identify suspects; So Karl takes things further by ensuring they have the best means to catch the serial killer.

Cassandra recommends high school art teacher Tommy Cummins. Viewers will recognize actor Noah Reid from the movie: Schitt Creek.

Since they had a friendly conversation, does that mean there’s hope for these two?

Combining Artistic and Detective Skills to Solve the Case

Earlier, Karl mentioned that you can tell a lot of things by looking into someone’s eyes. He learned this from his mother, who drew portraits.

I guess that’s why he wants to hire a portrait painter. He wants someone to draw pictures of various suspects.

In the official Murder in a Small Town trailer, Karl is seen drawing a portrait to examine various looks to find the suspect.

This Murder Affects Corporal Yen the Most

Most murders upset the police department, but there’s something about finding mutilated women that strikes female police officers.

Corporal Yen has seen his share of murder, but this is pure evil. They need to find out why he attacked these women or if the victims knew each other.

Judging by the amount of violence, it looked like a murder of passion.

It is also suggested that the killer worked with a partner or that someone else found them because the bodies were carefully arranged.

Since this is a two-part finale, the team will likely continue to put the pieces together towards the end of this episode.

Why Did Roger Galbraith Return?

According to the cast list, Roger Galbraith (Lucas Bryant) is returning for the two-episode season finale. Was I the only one hoping we’d seen the last of him? Murder of a Small Town Season 1 Episode 3?

While we won’t give away any spoilers as to why Roger is back, he’s an expert on small town gossip and has probably heard about Cassandra and Karl breaking up.

I think she’s back to play Cassandra again. I hope he’s smart enough to realize that she’s still playing games and that it’s not right for him.

I’d rather Cassandra stay single while she thinks about what she needs before getting back together with Karl.

I hope Roger had nothing to do with the murders. Even though it was an annoying rumor, I didn’t point him out as the murderer.
