This is someone who continues to attack basic scientists and doctors who want to gut the NIH and fire staff. NIH — these are American scientists and doctors who conduct research to prevent pandemics, prevent the spread of diseases.

As we all know, his actions actually caused measles epidemics in other parts of the world. So, are we going to make this person responsible for our health? Just a few years ago we experienced the pandemic, the greatest loss of life event. And now Donald Trump wants to appoint a vaccine skeptic (vaccines that, by the way, save millions of lives around the world) as head of our healthcare system? I can’t tell you how irresponsible, shameful, and disgusting this election is, and it’s something we should expect from Donald Trump, but something we should angrily oppose.

“I think it’s a sad time for our country,” Garcia added.
