About the show:

Nova Scotia’s tree-covered Oak Island has attracted treasure hunters for more than two centuries. Legend has it that one of the greatest treasures is still hidden somewhere, waiting for someone to find it. This is where Michigan brothers Rick and Marty Lagina come into play. They bought the rights to most of the island, hoping to solve the mystery themselves. Using modern technology, they launched an expensive and dangerous search. This is the same quest that inspired the show’s cursed title, in which many people died.
