CHICAGO – There was an 18 year old man stabbed and seriously injured Thursday night in Chicago West Town neighbour.

According to police, the victim was walking outside around 9:30 p.m. when he was approached by a group in the first block of North Western Boulevard.

Police said one of the suspects pulled out a sharp object and slashed the victim several times before running away.

The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

No arrests were made. Third Precinct detectives are continuing the investigation.
