When is Children in Need 2024 on TV and BBC iPlayer?

The live extravaganza kicks off at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer On Friday, November 15th.

In a unique first, Emmy Award-winning global TV sensation Bluey will move straight into the Strictly Ballroom and dance alongside Professional Dancers to help raise funds to support the charity’s work to help children and young people across the UK . .

Viewers can see behind the scenes of Bluey’s very special dance on Strictly: It Takes Two, airing on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer at 6.30pm on Thursday 14 November.

Inside In a heartwarming collaboration for Academy Award, Golden Globe and three-time BAFTA award-winning actor Gary Oldman, BBC Children in Need will read a very special CBeebies Bedtime Story, which will air as part of the BBC Children in Need 2024 program on Friday night.

There’s an extraterrestrial surprise for Doctor Who fans as BBC Children in Need launches a very special auction. Plus, the fifteenth Doctor Ncuti Gatwa gives the world an exclusive preview of the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special.

Graham Norton’s Big Red Chair

Graham Norton’s The Red Chair returns with a twist as a group of children from the BBC’s Children in Need projects decide the fate of some famous faces trying to make children laugh. If they fail, they and the chair will topple over.

Live Show

This year, for the first time, the BBC Children in Need Choir will include children from across the UK, supported by the BBC’s Children in Need-funded projects. They will come together in the studio and sing the anthemic Take That classic Never Forget.

The One Show’s Challenge Squad, featuring young people supported by BBC Children in Need projects, will culminate in two live performances in the BBC Children in Need Studio, alongside very special guests including multi-platinum selling artist Ella Henderson. Viewers can also expect a special performance from the COME ALIVE cast! The Greatest Showman, a brand new Circus Show.

Paddy McGuinness will find out his own total Radio 2 Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge, The BBC will travel across three countries and eight countries to help Children in Need’s 2024 Appeal.

Join Jackie Bird as she presents a special Children in Need program on BBC Scotland on Friday 15 November at 10pm.

This program will showcase a week-long challenge from BBC Radio Scotland presenters and feature the moving stories of children and young people benefiting from funds raised through BBC Children in Need in Scotland.
