MONROE, N.C. – A registered sex offender was arrested after he was found with a missing 14-year-old girl, according to the Monroe Police Department.

The 14-year-old girl was found earlier today. He was reported missing on October 31.

Police said they found her with 45-year-old Stephen Miller, a registered sex offender.

Miller was charged with felony restraints, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and contributing to traffic violations. He was also cited by the Union County Sheriff’s Office for failing to change his address, police said.

Miller is being processed at the Union County Detention Center. Conditions for his release have not yet been determined.
