Pentagon whistleblower says government does not restrict UFO information

A former Defense Department official who worked for a “secret Pentagon unit” that studies unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), previously unidentified flying objects (UFO), told Congress on Wednesday that he signed documents restricting what he could say about UAP crash recoveries.

Wednesday during the congress hearing In “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Revealing the Truth,” former Pentagon official Luis Elizondo was questioned by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) and other members of the House of Representatives about the federal government’s efforts to recover the secret UAP crash.

elizondo said Mace said Wednesday the government should share information in a “closed” congressional hearing to answer some questions about UAP accident recovery programs. He added: “Three years ago I signed documents specifically restricting my ability to discuss crash recoveries.”

Despite facing restrictions, the Pentagon whistleblower answered “yes” when asked whether the U.S. government was conducting UAP crash recovery efforts and whether recovery programs were “designed to detect and reverse engineer alien craft.”

Discussing Elizondo’s latest book on the Pentagon’s pursuit of UAPs, Mace asked the former Pentagon official to confirm whether government employees had been injured and received compensation due to UAPs. After Elizondo confirmed the claim in his book, Mace asked: “If the government is paying people for injuries from salvaged ships, how can they deny our salvaged ships?”

Elizondo responded: “I think that’s why we’re here — again — because I’ve seen the U.S. government’s documentation of many of these individuals who were injured as a result of the UAP incident.”

One written statement In his submission to Congress, Elizondo wrote: “Let me be clear: UAP is real. Advanced technologies not produced by our government or any other government monitor sensitive military facilities around the world. Moreover, the United States has UAP technologies, as do some of our enemies.”

Accordingly According to his official biography, Elizondo previously ran a “highly sensitive Special Access Program on behalf of the White House and the National Security Council.”

During Wednesday’s hearing, Elizondo told Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) that documents preventing him from sharing specific details on UAP accident recovery programs came directly from the “U.S. government.” The former Pentagon official stated that he did not have a copy of the document and that the document was kept in a sensitive compartmented information facility.

Referring to Elizondo’s inability to answer some questions, Moskowitz said: in question“You specifically said in the document that you said you couldn’t talk about crash rollbacks. “If there’s no fight club, you can’t talk about fight club.”
