My calendar chooses this week: I’m ready for the holiday season, so I’m ready to ice skate at Dilworth Park this weekend and stop by the amazing craft show at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to pick up some holiday gifts.

Exciting news from Ocean City! Developer Eustace Mita has announced plans to build the 7 1/2-story Icona Wonderland hotel on the site of the old Wonderland Pier. The new facility will have 252 rooms and retain the iconic carousel and Ferris wheel, which will be relocated and developed as part of the project. Mita is investing millions to restore historic sites, keep nostalgia alive and bring a modern touch to the Boardwalk. The project has created both excitement and controversy, but one thing is certain: Ocean City is about to get a major upgrade!
