Cobra Kai season 6 episode 2 will be released on Netflix 08.00 am (GMT) on Friday, 15 November 2024.

These five episodes pick up immediately after the events of season 6 episode 1, which dropped in July, and set the stage for the third and final episode of the farewell season (currently scheduled for 2025).

On gradual release Series co-creator Hayden Schlossberg said of the series’ latest developments: “As soon as we decided on 15, the five-five-five distinction made sense to us because we’re writing in five-episode arcs.

“If you look at seasons 1-5, everything that happens at the beginning of episode 1 or 2 comes to a head in episode 5. And things change in the second half of the season. So we were used to writing towards a big mid-season finale.”

He added: “We also liked the idea for the fans, because the five episodes of this show are about three hours long, so it’s good entertainment. Whereas all 15 episodes at once is impossible.”

“So this gives fans some good entertainment stretching from now until 2025 to keep the party going (and) satiate fans with new episodes.”

Cobra Kai fans may be sad to say goodbye to the series after a remarkable run, but the franchise’s legacy will continue next year with Karate Kid: Legends, an alternate universe tale starring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan (who returns from the 2010 reboot) .
