Kristin Chenoweth Endorses Vocal Coach’s New Online Singing Course (Exclusive)

Eric Vetro gave singing lessons Ariana Grande, Angelina Jolie, katy perry, Pink, Rosalia, Renee Zellweger, Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling and other superstars. Now everyone can benefit from his knowledge and wisdom from the comfort of their home.

The 68-year-old vocal coach recently revealed his talents BBC Maestro’s “Sing Like the Stars” courseAn eight-hour video series featuring advice from its star students Sabrina Carpenter, Legend of John And Marissa Janet Winokur — and for $89, it’s an incredible value.

The course came about when the BBC Maestro team contacted Vetro, who immediately agreed to take part upon learning. Mark Ronson, Tim Rice And BillLawrence was among the previous instructors. “I said, ‘Wait. You got me on Mark Ronson,'” he recalls. “I was really happy and excited to do this.”

Unlike the usual roster of famous students, Vetro appreciates the opportunity to share his teachings with a wider audience. “A lot of people either don’t have enough money to take lessons or don’t have a voice teacher they can access,” she says.

“They may not have time to take lessons because they work all day or take care of their children. But they can do it this way either late at night or early in the morning. They can do it.” “They don’t have to worry about anyone listening to them,” Vetro adds. “I just thought, ‘You know, this could be really helpful for people.'”

At one point in the process, the BBC Maestro team asked if they could arrange for Carpenter to appear as a guest for a question-and-answer session with on-camera students. He initially thought the “Espresso” singer had no chance of finding the time.

“I wasn’t even going to ask her, and then I thought, ‘I’ve known her since she was 12. I love her. We have a great relationship,'” explains Vetro, who eventually got in touch.

“He said, ‘I have free time on Sunday.’ I hated to give him the day off, but he seemed willing and happy to do it,” she adds. “I was thinking, ‘How can he do this? He’s tired. There’s so much going on,’ until he walked in the door and I was so grateful.”

About a month after the BBC Maestro course went live, Vetro received feedback from satisfied trainees. “I ran into someone at a concert last night. Someone came up to me and said, ‘I love your course. I’m a singer and I get a lot out of it,'” he explains. “It felt good to hear that.”

Complete with over 100 vocal exercises for a variety of ranges, as well as dozens of pages of lecture notes to accompany the videos, Vetro’s course is the longest course in the BBC Maestro series to date. “We worked really hard on this,” he says.

Most importantly, the vocal coach doesn’t want anyone to shy away from taking their own lessons. “It depends on whether your aspirations are to be a pop star, a musical theater star, or just to sing better at karaoke, or to be a songwriter,” says Vetro. “I just want it to be for anyone who wants to improve their voice.”
