PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A dirt bike rider is in critical condition after crashing into a car in West Philadelphia Wednesday night.

The incident happened at 52nd and Spruce streets just before 8:30 p.m.

Officials told Action News the dirt bike was pinned under the vehicle, trapping the driver.

The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in extremely critical condition.

According to police, the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene.

There is no word yet on whether criminal charges will be filed in this case.
