KI SAWYER, Mich. (WLUC) – The Lake Superior Community Partnership (LSCP) is showing its support for the UP airport.

Having quality air service according to LSCP necessary To improve the business environment and quality of life in UP Therefore, LSCP encourages its partners and the greater UP community to commit to using the Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport and to encourage and advocate for the airport’s growth and development.

LSCP CEO Christopher Germain said signing the commitment could have major impacts on the airport.

“Our talks with the airlines are not over yet,” Germain said. “Being able to show them a long list of our local businesses, organizations and individuals who have agreed to support the work being done there actually strengthens our case for additional air service.”
