In a landmark achievement, BSL’s Quality Circle (QC) team “Unnati” from Kiriburu Iron Ore Mines has been awarded the coveted Gold Award at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC-2024) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Celebrated on an international platform, this award underlines the team’s relentless commitment to improving quality and driving innovation within the organisation.

ICQCC is a globally recognized forum that brings together quality control professionals from a variety of industries to share, learn and celebrate advances in quality management. Competing against teams from many countries, Unnati’s success is a testament to BSL’s commitment to high quality standards and continuous operational improvement. The project submitted by Unnati focused on pioneering techniques in process optimization and resource efficiency, a key factor that earned them the gold medal.
