Eagle-eyed fans may notice one of her personal photos displayed upside down on the shelf, and it’s unknown if this was intentional or not.

Royal Lodge has been Prince Andrew’s home since the Queen Mother’s death in 2002.

The Grade II-listed residence has 30 rooms with luxurious interiors and is set on 21 acres of secluded gardens.

According to recent reports from US Weekly, the property is “crumbling” and ruined by dampness, leaving visible signs of wear and tear, including cracks in the brickwork. This maintenance will require significant financial investment and now Andrew can reportedly foot the bill.

Sarah has previously opened up about the unique situation of living with her ex-husband. In a chat with Australian radio presenter Kyle Sandilands, he said: “I’m always in and out, and he’s always in and out.”

The Duchess also has the late Queen’s corgis to keep her company as she took in Sandy and Muick after the Queen’s passing.

It makes sense for Sarah and Andrew to adopt the dogs, as the dogs were originally gifted to the Queen by Andrew and their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in 2021 while her husband Prince Philip was in hospital.
