I missed ‘Gossip Girl’ actress Chanel Banks

The family of missing actress Chanel Banks continues to search for her two weeks after she disappeared in Los Angeles.

According to a GoFundMe The page was created by Danielle-Tori Singh, Banks’ 36-year-old cousin who plays Sawyer Bennett. Gossip Girl – He has not been in contact with his loved ones since October 30.

Police conducted welfare checks on Banks on Nov. 7 and 8, but she was not at her Playa Vista apartment on either occasion, the GoFundMe page said.

Singh, who flew from Toronto to California to search for her missing cousin, said she and her aunt managed to break into Banks’ apartment on November 10, where they found the actress had left her dog and car behind. It was reportedly parked in his garage.

“The only things we couldn’t find are his phone and laptop. He also doesn’t go anywhere without his little dog, which he left behind,” the GoFundMe statement said.

β€œHe NEVER goes anywhere without telling his mother or me,” Singh added.

Singh’s cousin, who also appeared in the TV series Blue Bloods – had been married for over a year and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) had told them there were “no signs of abuse” at his home.

“The last message we received from him before his phone was disconnected was on October 30,” Singh said. KTLA. “I’m not leaving California until I find my cousin.”

The LAPD told the media outlet that they conducted four welfare checks and are investigating Banks’ disappearance.

“Five days when I didn’t hear from my cousin are red flags and alarm bells,” Singh added KABC A few days after Banks disappeared. “She doesn’t go more than 48 hours without talking to me or her mother. … This girl is more like a big sister to me.”

“I can tell you that something is not right inside me, inside me. … We go two weeks without saying a word, not making a sound. Nothing,” Singh said.

The family’s GoFundMe has raised over $3,000 so far. “We also need money for a hotel, food, a rental car, and gas,” Singh wrote about the family’s call in the post, adding that Banks’ mother had flown in from New York to help.

LAPD did not immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE for comment.
