Ye Ke, one of China’s most talked-about influencers, recently announced that she is quitting social media following intense speculation regarding her relationship with famous Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming.

Speculation revolved around the 270 million yuan (US$37 million) in alimony Ke was demanding from Huang, 46.

Huang was married to Chinese actress and model Angelababy, whose Chinese name is Yang Ying.

The couple divorced in 2022 and Angelababy gained custody of their seven-year-old son, nicknamed Little Sponge.

In mid-September, rumors about Huang and Ye began circulating online, leading Huang to publicly confirm the relationship online.

Ye, who is 15 years younger than Huang, was born and raised in Shenzhen, southern China’s Guangdong province, and graduated from Shenzhen University with a degree in broadcasting.
