The last day will be Monday, December 16th.

Owner Shelley Addison told RNZ they were only notified of the public the day before. the gallery was going to close Earlier than expected, in June 2024 instead of 2025, due to disruption of ongoing construction work at Te Ngākau Town Square on its doorstep.

The cafe said nearby construction work was “making it increasingly difficult for us to operate as usual” and that key earthquake strengthening set for February 2025 would close the cafe for the duration.
