South Mississippi restaurants prepare to serve Thanksgiving dinner

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – The White House Hotel in Biloxi is catering to those looking to get out of the kitchen on Thanksgiving.

“We have quite a few restaurants offering something for Thanksgiving,” Tessy Lambert said. “You can find features at the Margaritaville Resort in Biloxi and the Sapphire Supper Club, which will be accompanied by entertainment as always.”

One of the gems of the hotel is Cora, who creates a Thanksgiving menu.

“Cora’s is a really friendly restaurant where you can come with your family. You can sit down, have a wonderful, unforgettable meal and enjoy your time together; you don’t have to clean up afterwards,” Lambert said.

Beau Rivage, Salt and Ivy, another local venue in Biloxi, is also preparing its menus.

“Of course, we focus on Thanksgiving favorites like slow-roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, and my favorite gravy,” Bishop said. “So, we’re lining up those things for the menu.”

The restaurant focuses on nostalgia.

“Salt and Ivy reminds you that you are at home on the back porch of your grandmother’s house. It makes you feel at home,” Bishop said.

Both companies say the only thing people can expect this Thanksgiving is picture-perfect views while spending time with family.

“The ambiance of a restaurant is always important. It definitely adds to your meal and your overall experience,” Lambert said.

“We have people who will visit our restaurants and want to feel at home and avoid the hassle of doing a big meal of cooking and cleaning; Leave it to us at Beau Rivage and we’ll handle it. this is for you,” Bishop said.

Businesses say if you want to make a reservation, do it as soon as possible.
