Tennessee man arrested after stabbing Marietta

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – A Tennessee man has been arrested following a stabbing in Marietta over the weekend.

According to the release, officers with the Marietta Police Department responded to 203 Second St. around midnight Saturday night through Sunday morning. (Adelphia) address, citing a fight on the sidewalk involving a knife.

Upon arrival, officers found a male subject with significant facial injuries and Noah W. Mann, 24, of Kodak, Tenn., lying nearby with blunt force facial and head injuries.

The investigation showed that Mann was forced to leave the venue due to his behavior.

Mann then went outside and attacked the victim, causing a fight between the two, according to the release.

As the fight broke up, Mann pulled out his knife. When the victim approached Mann, he stabbed the victim in the face.

The victim’s friends then beat Mann unconscious, the statement says.

Both men were transported and treated to Marietta Memorial Hospital.

After receiving medical treatment, Mann was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

The victim has not been identified at this time.

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – A man was injured following a stabbing in Marietta on Sunday.

The stabbing occurred outside the Adelphia Music Hall on Second Avenue sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

While two adult men were involved in the argument, one of the men injured the other in the face.

The identities of both men have not been released at this time.

The incident is still under investigation.
