Bossier City woman disappears; Silver Alert issued by LSP

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) — A 68-year-old Bossier City woman has gone missing.

Now Louisiana State Police, on behalf of the Bossier City Police Department, have issued a Silver Alert for Ruby Williams, who was last seen around 10:40 a.m. Monday, November 11, at a law office in the 3900 block of Airline Drive in Bossier City. .

He is 6 feet tall, weighs about 120 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes. Williams may be wearing a brown wig.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, a sleeveless leopard jacket over a black jacket with green and red stripes on the wrist, black pants and white shoes.

Williams is believed to have walked away in an unknown direction.

Authorities said he suffered from a medical condition that affected his judgment and had a documented history of disappearing.

LSP received the request to issue the Silver Alert at around 19:24 on Monday.

Authorities ask anyone with information about Williams to immediately call Bossier City police at (318) 741-8977 or contact local law enforcement by calling 911.
