Immanuel Quickley suddenly suffers a left elbow sprain.

The Toronto Raptors placed Quickley as questionable on the injury report for Tuesday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Quickley complained of an elbow sprain for the first time.

Quickley is just recovering from a pelvic concussion that sidelined him for eight straight games following Toronto’s season opener. Toronto has been on a minutes restriction in its last two games but appears to have emerged from Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers without any trouble.

It is not yet known when Quickley was injured or how serious the injury was. More information will be provided by the Raptors ahead of Tuesday night’s game in Milwaukee.

If Quickley is unable to play, Davion Mitchell will return to Toronto’s starting lineup, as he did during Quickley’s time away from the team earlier this year. Rookie second-round pick Jamal Shead should see his role grow as Toronto’s backup point guard if Quickley can’t play.

Toronto is without Scottie Barnes, Bruce Brown, Kelly Olynyk and Ja’Kobe Walter. DJ Carton and Ulrich Chomche remain on G League duty, while Garrett Temple is questionable to play against the Bucks.

The Bucks expect Gary Trent Jr. to return after a two-game layoff and list the former Raptors guard as probable due to a back spasm. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Andre Jackson Jr. are also likely to play. Khris Middleton continues to play for the Bucks this season without a return schedule.
