Amber Alert issued for deputies about missing girl said to have been abducted in Jefferson County, Ohio

Eyewitness News has learned Oaklyn Alexander has been found.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Jefferson County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office has issued an Amber Alert for a missing seven-year-old girl who they say was abducted in Empire, Ohio.

Deputies say Oaklyn Alexander was abducted from a family member’s home by Charles Alexander around 3 p.m. Monday.

Deputies said Alexander got into a fight with a family member and then left, taking Oaklyn with him.

Deputies said they did not have custody of Alexander and were concerned for the child’s safety.

Oaklyn is described as a white female who is 6 feet tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a gray Edison hoodie, black pants and white shoes.

Charles Alexander is described as a white male, 43 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 205 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and jeans.

Deputies said the duo is now believed to be in a white 26-foot U-Haul Truck/Ford F650 with Arizona license plate AL74169. The identification number of the truck is JH1690E.

Anyone with information about Alexander or Oaklyn should call 911.
