LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (WTOK) – On Veterans Day, we are reminded of the unwavering courage and dedication of our nation’s heroes.

In honor of Veterans Day, West Lauderdale Elementary School hosted a breakfast, program and parade for Veterans.

This special day serves as a chance for all of us to honor and thank the men and women who serve and serve our country.

“It brings joy to my heart to see that they truly appreciate us at such a young age; he makes me smile, he comes in and out,” Nathan Caradic said.

Families and friends came together to highlight the importance of recognizing Veterans in our own communities.
