PARK FOREST, Illinois (Wales) — An army veteran who went missing in the southern suburbs has been found safe.

Calvin Holliday, 79, was last seen Sunday at 5:35 p.m. at the corner of Washington and Wilshire Streets in Park Forest.

Illinois State Police activated the Endangered Missing Persons Advisory Bureau on Monday.

He was diagnosed with dementia, according to police.

He was located Monday afternoon, authorities said.
