PASADENA, California – A material spill on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena closed two lanes and caused a major traffic backlog during the Monday evening commute.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two lanes of the westbound highway near Lake Avenue will be closed for an unknown amount of time as crews work to eliminate the “road hazard.”

It’s unclear at this time what the “slick” is.
