Veterans Day deals 2024 offer free meals, discounts and more to honor military heroes

As Veterans Day approaches, restaurants across America are honoring our nation’s heroes with mouthwatering discounts and limited-time deals that are too good to pass up.

From free heartwarming meals to sweet treats, check out all the places giving thanks and celebrating those who have served or are serving on Monday, November 11.

Free coffee at Starbucks

Veterans, active-duty members and military spouses can get free long-brewed coffee, hot or iced, at participating U.S. Starbucks stores on Monday.

IHOP offers free pancake combos for veterans

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free Red, White and Blueberry Pancake Combo when dining at IHOP.

Options include two buttermilk pancakes topped with glazed strawberries, blueberry topping and whipped topping, or two eggs with hash browns and pecan-smoked bacon or pork sausage links.

Free breakfast at Denny’s on Veterans Day

Military personnel past and present can enjoy a free Original Grand Slam on November 11 from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a valid military ID or DD214.

Free thank you dinner at Golden Corral

From 4 p.m. until closing on Veterans Day, all active duty military, retirees, reservists, guardsmen and veterans will receive a free “thank you” buffet and beverage.

Military Appreciation Night will be held at all Golden Corral restaurants with no purchase or military ID required to receive the free meal.

Applebee’s is serving free meals to veterans

On Monday for the 17th year in a row, Applebee’s will offer a special free lunch or dinner to veterans, active-duty military, reservists and National Guard members.

They can choose from some of the restaurant’s most popular entrees: Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, 6-ounce Top Sirloin, Chicken Tender Plates, Double Crispy Shrimp, Fiesta Lemon Chicken, Oriental Chicken Salad, or Three Cheese Chicken Penne.

Veterans will also receive a $5 Come Back pass for future visits within a three-week redemption period.

Free Pizookie at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse

Soldiers dining in on Veterans Day will receive a free Pizookie, a cookie baked in a large cast-iron skillet. Veterans and active-duty military members can also get free appetizers for visits between November 12 and December 31, 2024.

Free Senior Shrimp & Chips at Red Lobster

To thank veterans, active-duty military and reservists for their service, Red Lobster is offering free Veteran Shrimp & Chips – six pieces of Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, cocktail sauce and ketchup, served with fries and coleslaw – Monday, November 11.

To qualify for this meal-only offer, guests must only present a valid military ID or proof of service.

Additionally, Red Lobster shows its appreciation for veterans every day by offering a 10% discount on their check when dining at the restaurant with proof of service or valid military ID.

Free combo meal at White Castle

The popular fast food chain known for its sliders has created a special offer for past and present military members to enjoy a free individual combo meal or breakfast combo meal when dining at participating White Castle restaurants on Nov. 11.

“This gesture symbolizes our admiration and respect for those who currently serve in a branch of the U.S. military or who once wore the uniform,” White Castle Vice President Jamie Richardson said in a press release. he said. “The sacrifices of the men and women of our nation’s military are appreciated every day. This free meal on Veterans Day highlights our desire to say ‘thank you.'”

White Castle will also offer its slides, designed with red and white stripes under the White Castle logo on the front and 50 white stars on the side on a dark blue background, in special patriotic packaging on Veterans Day.

Whataburger serves free coffee to veterans and active military all year

This Veterans Day, Whataburger is thanking the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country with a free 16-ounce hot or iced coffee.

Starting November 11, veterans and active-duty members of the armed forces, in uniform or with a valid ID, will be able to stop by any dining room and pick up a free coffee every day, year-round.

Free food for soldiers at In-N-Out Burger

On Monday, veterans, active-duty military, Reserve and National Guard members with proof of military service will be able to enjoy a free meal, including any burger, fries and beverage on In-N-Out Burger’s menu.

Half discount for Veterans Day at Fogo de Chão

The popular Brazilian steakhouse, which features carved meats tableside, is honoring military heroes with a special offer for veterans and active-duty service members to enjoy the Full Churrasco experience for 50% off. Additionally, three of our guests will benefit from a 10% discount when they dine at the restaurant.

Krispy Kreme is serving free coffee and donuts on Veterans Day

At all locations, veterans and active military will be offered a free small hot or iced coffee along with a donut of their choice.

Free boneless wings for veterans at Buffalo Wild Wings

Veterans and active duty military who present valid ID will receive a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries on November 11. Offer is for dine-in only and included with walk-in orders at Buffalo Wild Wings GO locations, counter.

Free burgers at Johnny Rockets

To salute veterans and active military, the restaurant chain will offer a free One Burger with the purchase of any beverage or shake on Nov. 11 to those dining with a veteran or military ID or wearing a military uniform.

Free spaghetti at Fazoli’s

All active military and veterans can enjoy a free Spaghetti with Marinara or Meat Sauce with proof of service at participating locations on November 11 using the code “Vet24” online or when dining in.

Dave & Buster’s promotion for veterans and active military

Veterans and active-duty military will receive up to $20 in free admission on November 11, as well as a $10 Power Pass. They will also receive 15% off all food and beverage purchases every day throughout the year with a valid veteran or military ID.

15% off Round Table Pizza

From November 8-11, guests can save 15% on dine-in, takeout and delivery orders at participating locations.

Chicken Salad Chick

Chicken Salad Chicken is bringing back its annual offering, which the company says has distributed more than 130,000 free meals to veterans nationwide since its founding.

On November 11, veterans and active-duty military will be able to receive a free Chicken Meal and regular fountain drink, which includes a scoop or sandwich along with a fresh appetizer, at all locations.

Free Playa Bowls on Veterans Day

All veterans and military members with valid military ID can get a free Playa Bowl on Veterans Day. Offer valid only at select locations in store.

Free coffee at Duck Donuts

On Monday, all veterans and active military members with a valid ID or VIC card can get a free medium hot coffee or cold brew simply from the store, with no purchase required.

Sheetz Veterans Day gift includes food, drink and car wash

The major Mid-Atlantic restaurant and grocery chain will show respect and gratitude to veterans and active-duty military personnel by offering them a free half-turkey sub and a regular-sized fountain drink.

Additionally, Sheetz will provide a $9 car wash to veterans and active-duty military at no charge with military identification or proof of service.

Customers are also encouraged to donate their loyalty points to the United Service Organizations, or USO, in November – 200 loyalty points equals a $1 donation to the USO through the Sheetz app.

Hurricane Grill & Wings

All veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free entrée from a select menu this Veterans Day. Options include 10-Bone Wings, Battered Fish with Yuengling Beer & Chips, Steakburger, Chicken Caesar Salad, Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich, or Chicken BLT Tacos.

Offer valid for dine-in at participating locations only on November 11 and requires identification or wearing a military uniform.

Firehouse Subs Veterans Day deal

Veterans and active-duty military can visit any Firehouse Subs location on Nov. 11 for a free combo that includes a medium sub, chips or cookies, and a drink.

Free meal at California Pizza Kitchen for Veterans Day

On Monday, CPK honors U.S. veterans and active-duty soldiers with a free entrée and a drink from its prix fixe menu while you dine.

To further thank them for their service, these customers will also receive a Buy One, Get One voucher for any pizza, pasta or salad that can be used on future visits between November 12-25, 2024.

NGO Steakhouse

From November 8-11, all Veterans and active-duty military will receive a 50% discount on food.
