HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Two people were left homeless after a fire Saturday night.

Horry County Fire Rescue said they received a call about a fire in the 2000 block of Joyner Swamp Road in Galivants Ferry at 9:52 p.m.

There was severe fire damage to the house.

Two people with minor injuries were treated at the scene.

The American Red Cross is assisting fire victims.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
