VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – One person was killed in a crash in Volusia County Saturday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the area of ​​North Woodland Boulevard and Brandywine Road.

Authorities said the crash occurred between a 2010 Toyota Prius and a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer, with the Prius attempting to make a turn into the path of the Blazer on Brandywine Road.

According to police, the 92-year-old female driver of the Prius died at the scene.

The driver of the Blazer was slightly injured.

The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
