LYNCHBURG, Va. — Five people were injured in a shooting at a Virginia restaurant Friday night, police said.

Officers responded to calls of shots fired at BeeBee’s Spot in Lynchburg just after 11:20 p.m., the police statement said. Three adults were treated at the scene for gunshot wounds and taken to the hospital, police said. A short time later, two more adults arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds from the same incident. All of the injured are expected to recover, police said.

No other information was released. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the attack should contact the Lynchburg Police Department.
