One person was killed when a single vehicle rolled over in downtown Moose Jaw late Thursday night.

The collision between the 1100 and 1300 blocks of Main Street North occurred at approximately 11:49 p.m.

While the other two people in the vehicle were taken to hospital, one was treated with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and the other was treated with minor injuries and discharged from the hospital.

The Saskatchewan Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT) was notified by police prior to the collision and is investigating any injuries to the occupants. Moose Jaw Police Department said it is fully cooperating with the SIRT investigation and declined further comment.

The road, which was closed for 15 hours on Friday, was reopened around 15:00.
