Visitors will be able to make reservations at Snowport for the first time: Here’s how

Boston’s Snowport transforms the Seaport into a winter wonderland filled with lights, vendors, and food. The holiday market is allowing visitors to book timed passes for the first time this year.

Reservations will be available Friday through Saturday at the Snowport, which runs from November 8 through December 29.

All people need to do is download the Seaport Insider app. The app is available for free on the app store and is compatible with iPhones and Androids. Once people download the app, they can book a 30-minute timed ticket entry by selecting their preferred date and time.

Reservation does not mean guests only have 30 minutes to explore Snowport. People just need to arrive at the festival within the 30-minute time slot they booked. Once they enter the festival, people can stay as long as they want.

Tickets start at $12 for adults, $6 for veterans and $6 for children ages 6-17. There is no fee for children under 5 years old. Those who book a time slot will enter Snowport via a separate line when they arrive.

The Seaport Insider app also includes vendor information and a festival map, and offers more special deals and events around the Seaport.

Snowport is located at 100 Seaport Boulevard. It is open Monday to Thursday 15:00 – 20:00, Friday and Saturday 11:00 – 21:00 and Sunday 11:00 – 20:00.

General admission to Snowport is free for those who do not reserve a time slot. You can learn more about Snowport Here.
