James Harden Made NBA History in Clippers-Kings Match

The LA Clippers entered a hostile Sacramento arena with a mission to go undefeated on the road and snap their first three-game winning streak of the season. The Clippers accomplished that goal, and James Harden made history in the process.

On Friday night, James Harden passed Kevin Garnett for 19th place on the NBA’s all-time three-point shooting list. Harden needed to score more than 26,072 points for this achievement, which is a great achievement.

Harden finished the night with 22 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. However, he shot a dismal 5/16 from the field and committed 7 turnovers in the process. He’s been asked to carry a huge offensive load this season without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, and he’s doing just that at age 35. Even though Harden’s shooting percentage is a little low and his turnovers are high, this is somewhat expected.

No matter what, the Clippers as a team have been a big surprise this season. Los Angeles had an undefeated performance on the road this season, defeating the Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings. They are also currently on a three-game winning streak with wins against the San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings.

Many players transferred to the Clippers during Kawhi Leonard’s absence, but Norman Powell has been something truly special for the team. Powell is averaging over 25 points per game on 50% shooting from the field.
