2023 Six Flags/Cedar Fair merger It’s still being felt throughout the theme park community as this massive event changed the landscape of gaming in the United States. With such moves comes a lot of rumors about how such a new organization will operate, thanks to the new corporate family emerging. Early last summer, rumors that Six Flags Great Adventure might be closing the Kingda Ka coaster had my home state of New Jersey worried.

As these whispers grow, with the supposed closing date now up in the air, I’m not entirely convinced that’s what’s going on, at least not yet. Let’s take a look at these rumors and why people might want to keep their emotions in the car right now.
