Where is Melonie Ballenger? Missing Texas Wife Left Home With ‘Nothing’

Texas authorities are searching for a missing woman who was last seen at her home on Sunday.

Melonie Ballenger, 46, was last seen at her home in Wylie around 10 p.m. Authorities said Ballenger did not take a vehicle or phone with him when he left.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued a Coordinated Law Enforcement Adult Rescue “CLEAR” Alert for Ballenger.

Her husband Daniel Ballenger told CBS News Texas He said he slept with Melonie on Sunday, but when he woke up Monday, Melonie wasn’t there.

“He left with nothing,” Daniel Ballenger said.

Authorities said they searched the area with the help of K9 search dogs and a Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter, but were unable to find Melonie Ballenger. While detectives are chasing the suspects, searches continue in the area.

The Wylie Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance as the search continues. Residents in the area are asked to review outdoor camera footage between 12:00 and 06:00 on Monday.

Melonie Ballenger is described as being 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The clothes he wore when leaving the house are unknown.
