Charlotte County woman accused of harassing disabled boyfriend

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – A Port Charlotte woman is in jail after deputies attacked a man in her care.

Deputies were called to a home on Warren Boulevard on a report of domestic violence. De’yeanna Stultz initially gave deputies a fake name, authorities said. Stultz was her boyfriend’s primary caregiver and denied anything happened.

The victim called deputies and gave a statement identifying Stultz as her caregiver and girlfriend of 11 years. He told authorities that De’yanna had been drinking and became aggressive when drunk.

The Probable Cause Affidavit states De’yanna threw a Roku remote at the victim, hitting him. The remote control was on the ground, its batteries dead, next to the victim who was unable to move.

Officers arrested Stultz and said he was resisting and refusing to comply with instructions. Stultz was charged with abuse of a disabled adult, resisting without violence, and giving a false name to LEO.

He is in the Charlotte County Jail.
