LINN COUNTY, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids woman was hospitalized after a car crash Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at the intersection of Highway 151 and Wright Brothers Boulevard West near Walford. They arrived after 3.45pm and found two cars involved in the crash.

Delinda Mull, 61, of Cedar Rapids, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials said Mull was traveling north on the highway and attempted to pull out of the way of a 2015 Jeep Renegade.

The other driver was ticketed for not yielding to the other driver while making a left turn.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Linn County Sheriff’s Rescue Squad, Fairfax Fire Department and Area Ambulance.
