E. Jean Carroll Shares 5 Heartbreaking Words After Trump’s Victory

Writer E. Jean Carroll, for whom Donald Trump is on trial on charges of sexual harassment and defamation, made a short and touching post on Wednesday after the Republicans were re-elected as president.

“I tried to tell you” he said wrote to xformerly Twitter.

Carroll, a longtime advice columnist, said Trump raped her in a New York department store dressing room in 1996.

In May 2023, a jury awarded him 5 million dollars and found that Trump sexually harassed her but did not rape her. He also found that she slandered him by claiming that he lied about this matter. Trump also denies doing so.

A jury awarded Carroll the award in January $83.3 million for insult After Trump continued to publicly attack her. The president-elect is appealing both decisions.

Trump accused of sexual assault or harassment more than two dozen women.

Earlier this year, he was convicted of falsifying business records to conceal a hush money payment to a porn actor with whom he allegedly had an extramarital affair. He also faces three additional criminal charges, but it appears can come out of these now he’s returning to the White House.
