Regional districts investigate fatal crashes

Winnebago County authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday morning, Nov. 6, 2024, on Highway 21, just west of the City of Oshkosh. Deputies were called to the scene just before 6 a.m. and reported that one of the drivers had died and the other was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No details about how the accident occurred were released.

Wisconsin State Patrol is also investigating a fatal crash in Calumet County on Wednesday. Shortly before 2:30 p.m., a crash was reported on Route 10 near County Highway D. The investigation revealed that a 70-year-old man from Brillion was traveling westbound on Highway 10 when he left the roadway, hit a culvert and rolled. The 70-year-old person, who was alone in the vehicle, died in the hospital where he was taken.
