BALTIMOREMD — A 36-year-old man died early Wednesday after being stabbed in Baltimore’s North Ward, according to city police.

Northern Precinct patrol officers responded to a stabbing that occurred at approximately 3:08 a.m. in the 2500 block of North Howard Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from an apparent stab wound.

Police said the man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.

Homicide detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities have not released information about a possible suspect or motive.
