BALTIMORE, MD. — A 58-year-old man was found dead with gunshot wounds in Northeast Baltimore early Sunday morning, prompting a homicide investigation.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:23 a.m. on Nov. 3, 2024, when Northeast District patrol officers responded to reports of a person lying in the street in the 4200 block of Sheldon Avenue. When they arrived at the scene, medical teams saw that the person had a gunshot wound and determined that the person died at the scene.
