He wrote to his superiors: “I do not remember writing these articles or deleting any.” He explained that sleep aids “cause some of my communication to be ‘out of character,’ which is a documented side effect.”

In a statement to Springfield News-SunMike Young, chief deputy for Clark County, said: “We have been in this battle for the last several months.
