LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) – Authorities responded to an overnight shooting in Longview that left one person injured early Tuesday morning.

According to the Longview Police Department, officers responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Christie Road around 12:41 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject with a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital by the Longview Fire Department (EMS).

Following initial investigations, 30-year-old Grant Shore was identified as the prime suspect and was later arrested near the scene and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Investigators say the incident stemmed from an argument between the two.
